4. Pricing

All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (£).

Prices may change without notice but any changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

If we discover a pricing error before your order has been accepted, we will contact you to offer the option of confirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If payment has already been taken, you will receive a full refund if you choose not to proceed.

 

5. Orders

Placing an order on our website constitutes an offer to purchase our products.

A contract is formed only when we send you an Order Confirmation email.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where:

  • Payment cannot be authorised.

  • A product is unavailable.

  • Fraudulent or unauthorised activity is suspected.

Payment must be received before goods are dispatched.

Calm Hippo does not store your full payment card details.

While we aim to dispatch and deliver orders within the stated timeframes, delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may occasionally be affected by factors outside our reasonable control, including courier delays, severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Risk in the goods passes to you once your order has been delivered.

 

8. Returns & Refunds

Please refer to that policy for full details of your rights, our returns process and refund eligibility. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

 

9. Candle Safety

Our candles are intended for use in accordance with the safety instructions supplied with the product.

For your safety, always:

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.

  • Keep candles away from children and pets.

  • Keep candles away from flammable materials.

  • Burn candles on a suitable heat-resistant surface.

  • Trim the wick before each use where recommended.

  • Stop using the candle before the flame reaches the bottom of the container, as indicated in the safety instructions.

Calm Hippo cannot accept responsibility for damage or injury resulting from candles being used contrary to the supplied safety guidance, altered after purchase, or used in an unsafe or unintended manner.

Nothing in this section limits or excludes your statutory rights in relation to faulty or unsafe products.
